Coming Soon! The David Poehlman Uplink

Tapping Technology will soon be available to millions of faithful fans on the Internet. We're feverishly working on our own Home Page from which you can access a plethora of MD TAP information, including Tapping Technology. We're seriously considering calling it The David Poehlman Uplink in honor of Dave Poehlman, Alternate Media Specialist who recently left MD TAP to join the fine folks at the Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind. (Good Luck David, we'll see you on the net.) We'll update you on how to get to the MD TAP Home Page in our June newsletter. For now, if you have FTP access on the Internet, you can still get Tapping Technology. Here's how:

Going to, and getting the current and back issues of Tapping Technology will be somewhat easier when our Home Page is up and running, but we want to make it available NOW for all you hard core Cyber Surfers.

If you encounter any difficulties, please drop us a line at mdtech1@aol.com and we'll try our best to help. Our condolences to the family of Ed Duggan on the passing away of his father, Gerald C. Duggan.

Next Time in Tapping Technology: Making Information Accessible with Assistive Technology. Articles and features by: Richard Wanderman, Lawrence Scadden, Greg Vanderheiden, and the cast of CAST! Be there, or be square.
