3 . Museums, Cultural Parks and Centers The Task Force recommends the establishment of a commission that will actively network museums, cultural organizations, parks and centers as well as private collections to support the cataloguing, preservation, and presentation of cultural resources relative to the history and legacy of slavery in Maryland. Such commission, moreover, should continually monitor access of such stakeholders to state resources and support to ensure a reasonable standard of equity and fairness. 4. Youth Development Programming The Task Force recommends the establishment of a commission to work with grass roots organizations, foundations, and government agencies to publicize and seek State and private support for youth development initiatives relative to the history and legacy of slavery. The Task Force recommends adequate funding of a publication to be used as a resource manual of pedagogical and curriculum development models whose periodical updating will be an oversight responsibility of the commission. 5 .
