Perry
Catlett
Claudie
Catlett's older son (sometimes called
"Pat") testified for the defense regarding
the typewriter, saying at first that it was
given to his family when the Hisses had moved
from P Street (and would have been out of the
Hisses' house when the State Department documents
were allegedly typed). On cross examination,
his testimony was vague about the exact date.
All three Catletts were interviewed by the FBI
several times, and their testimony became confused
as to when they had received the Woodstock.
