Remembering Agnew

Agnew taught the sujbect of "Torts" at the U. of Baltimore Law School in the early '60s. I was one of his students. He was a fine teacher and very popular. Agnew was then the Baltimore Co. Executive. He later went on to serve as governor of Maryland.
I'm a life long democrat, but I felt very sorry to see Agnew caught up in the bribery scandal that would lead to his disgrace and fall from power.
I thought his former cronies, who couldn't wait to rat him out, were a lot sleazier then he ever was or possibly could be.
May Agnew's soul rest in eteranl peace. God knows he got little peace here on this earth, especially at the end of his public career.

It really is a wonder that Nixon's top aides were just as big a sham as he was. Wow were we being misled.
