The State House Building Commission
created by Chapter
of the Acts of 1902
met in the Executive Office.
All the
members of the Commission
were present
as follows. Governor

Upon motion of Gen Latrobe
the Governor
was elected chairman of
the
Commission
Upon motion of Comptroller
Hering
T.J.C Williams was elected
secretary
of the Commission.
Upon motion of Judge McSherry,
Mesrs
Baldwin and Pennington were
engaged
to prepare plans and specifications
to
the proposed addition to
the State House
and to supervise the building.
Upon motion of Gen Latrobe
the
Governor was authorized
to appoint
an Executive Committee of
five members
of the Commission.
The Governor said he would
an-
nounce the Committee hereafter.
Upon motion the secretary
was direct-
ed to notify the State Librarian
to have
all the books removed from
the library
by May 15, and to apply
to the
Comptroller for the necessary
funds.
The Comptroller said he
could advance
the amount from the contingent
fund
of the Board of Public Works.
