Moved to New Scotland Hundred, Charles County, in 1687 or 1688 (after 1696, Prince George's County). Provincial Offices: juror, Provincial Court, 1679; grand jury foreman, Provincial Court, 1686; Associators' Convention (Charles County), 1689-1692; Grand Committee of Twenty, 1690-1692; Upper House, 1692-1705; Council, 1692-1705; justice, Provincial Court, 1692-1694; judge, Court of Chancery, 1693; associate chancellor, 1696; associate commissary general, 1699-1700.
