Harry Snowden
MSA SC 3520-16425

Between 1810 and 1822, Harry Snowden lived near the town of Brookeville in Montgomery County, Maryland with Milly Snowden, to whom he was likely married.1 Harry and Milly were tenants of Brookeville resident Gerard Brooke, who owned nearly 2,000 acres of land throughout Montgomery County.2 Harry supported himself through working various jobs such as corn husking and field tending on Gerard Brooke's property surrounding Brookeville, while Milly often exchanged her services as a weaver for food and other household items from Gerard Brooke and his son, Richard Brooke.3 Harry Snowden's whereabouts after 1822 are unknown.
