William H. Ward

Biography:

Died in Baltimore City, Maryland, on July 26, 1827, after a prolonged illness.

Unsuccessful candidate, House of Delegates, Cecil County, 1808. Member of Executive Council, 1812-1816. Federalist. Associate Judge, Sixth Judicial District (Baltimore and Harford counties), 1818-1827. In February, 1827, a House of Delegates committee considered whether Ward should be removed from the bench for his lack of attendence, but no action was ever taken.
