Biography:

Born 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland. Son of John H. Bouse. Attended Mount Saint Joseph High School, graduated 1936; Loyola College; University of Baltimore Law School. Married Francis Rozenkowski, 1941. Three children: Robert H. Bouse, Jr.; Carolyn; Kathy. Died, February 28, 2011, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Deputy Clerk, Baltimore City Court, 1941. Served in U.S. Army, World War II. Fought in Italian Campaign, and received Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Clusters, 1944. Enlisted as private, eventually attained rank of captain. Served in Army Reserves after war, rising to lieutenant colonel. Deputy Clerk, Baltimore City Court, 1954-1957. Chief Deputy Clerk, Baltimore City Superior Court, 1957-1968. Clerk, Baltimore City Superior Court, 1968-1978. Administrator, Baltimore City Supreme Bench, 1979-1980. Chief Deputy Clerk, United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland, 1979-1985. Active in Democratic politics. Founder of Quo Vadis Democratic Club. Former president, State Court Clerks Association.
