Biography:

Born Benjamin Allein Welch, March 25, 1862, in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  Son of Benjamin A. and Lucinda "Lucy" (Pendell) Welch.  Attended public schools.  Married Susan Hodges Ogle.  Died September 10, 1945, in Annapolis, Maryland.  Buried at Christ Church, Owensville, Maryland.
