Frank S. Strobridge

Biography:

Born on February 17, 1857, in San Francisco, California. Son of Rhoda W. Strobridge (b. 1830). Attended local public schools in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Married Alice Barnes (b. 1864), 1883. Five children, including Frank, Jr. (b. 1884), Howard (b. 1886), and Alice (b. 1889).

Businessman. Moved to Baltimore with his parents in 1875, began working at an insurance office. Incorporator, Baltimore Mutual Aid Society, 1881; served as first president. Served in Maryland Senate, 1896 and 1898; Republican. President, Twelfth Ward Republican Club. Governor, Young Men's Republican Club. Member, Republican State Central Committee.
