Biography:

Born in Maryland, 1826. Married Susan Harris, daughter of Martha E. and Benjamin G. Harris. Six children: Nannie K., Benjamin G.H., Martha E, Mattie, Cora K., and Delia H; four survived to adulthood. Died at "Ellenboro,'" Maryland, January 2, 1871, after several months' illness.

Attorney, practiced in Leonardtown with J. Parran Crane, from 1867 until his death. Maryland Senate, St. Mary's County, 1867-1871; Democrat.
