Biography:

Born, Baltimore, Maryland, 1934. Parents William Greenfeld (d. 1978) and Helen Greenfeld Jacobs. Graduated Baltimore City College, 1951. Attended Franklin and Marshall College, 1951-1955. Graduated second in his class, University of Maryland Law School, 1958. Admitted to the Bar, November 7, 1958. Married, Sarajane Gold; four children, Ira Levine, Robert Greenfeld, Michele Brill, Peggy Greenfeld. Died, Baltimore, Maryland, August 25, 1988.

Began legal career as clerk for U.S. Circuit Court Judge Simon E. Sobeloff. Private practice for two years. Assistant City Solicitor until 1965. Delegate to Constitutional Convention, 1967. Assistant Attorney General, 1968-1973. Special assistant for Maryland Industrial Development Finance Authority, 1973-1975. Appointed to the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, 1975.
