Biography:
Born George Dulaney Solter in Baltimore, Maryland, 1920. Son of Judge George A. Solter and Christie Y. Dulaney. Graduated, Johns Hopkins University, 1942. Admitted to the bar, September 15, 1949. Married, Susan W. "Tuda" Solter (d. 2005), 1949; three children: J. Ritchie Solter, Catherine S. Pollock, and Susan S. Mulford. Died October 14, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Appointed to the Baltimore City Supreme Bench, September 5, 1968. Defeated in election bid for full term, 1970. Chair, Human Relations Commission, 1971-1975. Chair, Attorney Grievance Commission, 1975-1979. Member, Select Committee to Study the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct, 1984.
