Biography:

Born in Centerville, Queen Anne's County, Maryland, 1891.  Attended St. John's College, Annapolis.  Graduated, University of Maryland Law School, 1915.  Admitted to the bar, October 8, 1915. Married, Clara Davis Tucker; two children, Asbury Davis Tucker and Mrs. Webster Blood.  Died, Baltimore, Maryland, March 26, 1967.

Practiced was part of Carman, Tucker & Anderson for more than 20 years.  Appointed to the Supreme Bench by Gov. Herbert R. O'Conor, June 18, 1943.  While a judge, helped to establish the Patuxent Institute and the Maryland Correctional Institute.  Retired from the bench, October 8, 1961, at the mandatory retirement age of 70.  After retirement, served as Chair of the State Scholarship Board and the Baltimore City Board of Ethics.  Board member, Child Study Center.  Member, Bar Association of Baltimore City, Maryland State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Rotary Club of Baltimore.  Past president, Eastern Shore Society of Baltimore City.
