Ordained minister. Pastor, Cecil Memorial United Methodist Church, Annapolis (Parole) 1991-. Teacher in Baltimore City and New York State public schools, 1963-82. Board of Overseers, Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, 1984. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1988, 1992. Member, Baltimore City Democratic Central Committee, 1990-94. Advisory Board, Secretarial and Office Services, New Community College of Baltimore, 1996. Humanitarian Service Award, United Cerebral Palsy, 1982-90. Named Outstanding Educator, Afro American Newspaper, 1990. Named Outstanding Educator, Baltimore City Council, 1990. Maryland's Top 100 Women, Daily Record, 2008.
