Attended Park School; Johns Hopkins University, A.B., 1929; Yale Law School, LL.B., 1932. Admitted to Maryland Bar, November 15, 1932. Married Sylvia Cohn Bloom; three children. Died April 8, 2003, Baltimore, Maryland.

Member, House of Delegates, Baltimore City District 4, 1935-1941. Senior Partner, Cordish and Cordish law firm, Baltimore, Maryland. Paul Lee Cordish Scholarship at Johns Hopkins University established in 1998. Representative, National Emergency Defense Council. Past president, Junior Bar Assocation of Baltimore; Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society. Member, Phi Beta Kappa.
