Last Will and Testament of J. Appleton Wilson.
I, J. Appleton Wilson, of the City of Baltimore, State of Maryland, revoking all
other wills made by me, do make publish and declare this, my Last Will and Testament, in
manner and form following.
I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid.
I give and bequeath my Buick Automobile, absolutely to my daughter, Virginia Apple-
ton Wilson.
I devise and bequeath all my remaining property, both Real and Personal wherever
situated, to the Colonial Trust Company of Baltimore City, as Trustee, to receive and collect
and charges thereon, to pay two thirds of the net annual income therefrom in monthly install-
ments to my wife Mary Wade Wilson during her lifetime, and one third to my daughter Virginia
Appleton Wilson, in the same manner during her lifetime. In the event of the death of either
my said wife or my said daughter, The Trustee shall pay the entire net income to the survi-
vor during her life time.
I direct that my wife Mary Wade Wilson, and my daughter Virginia Appleton Wilson
may occupy the dwelling 1013 St Paul St. with the garage attached thereto, and may use the
furniture and fixtures therein without the payment of any rent therefor, as long as they or
either of them may choose to do so. Also the Cottage and Country Place at Monterey, Franklin
County, Penna. under the same terms and conditions.
If at any time my said wife and daughter or either of them shall so desire, they
shall have the right to nominate a new Trustee, with the same powers and obligations as be-
fore set forth, as a successor in this Trust, and such Trustee so nominated shall give an
adequate bond, with a reputable Bonding Company for the faithful performance of the obliga-
tions of this Trust.
I hereby give to the Trustee full power to change any or all of my investments if
in the opinion of said Trustee, it will be for the Benefit of the Estate, with full power
to execute such deeds, conveyances, and releases of real estate as may be requisite in mak-
ing such changes, and to re-invest any funds which may be received from the corpus of the
estate, always provided that such changes of investment, deeds or releases of real estate
shall be made with the written consent of my said wife or daughter or the survivor of them.
No purchaser from said Trustee or its successor shall be in any manner bound to see to the
application of the proceeds of any sale or sales hereunder, and neither the said property
nor the income therefrom shall be in anyway liable for the debts of any future husband of
my said daughter, nor in any manner subject to the control or management, neither shall he
be liable for such trusteeship. The survivor of my said wife and my said daughter shall have
full power to pass absolutely by will to such person or persons or for such purposes as she
may nominate, my entire remaining Estate, both real and Personal. I hereby appoint my daugh-
ter, Virginia Appleton Wilson as Executor, and ask that she be excused from giving any bond.
Subscribed, sealed, published and declared by J. Appleton Wilson the Testator above
named, as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of each of us, who at his
request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as wit-
nesses, this 9th day of April, 1926 In the City of Baltimore Md.

Baltimore City, ss:
On the 22" day of April 1927, came Virginia A. Wilson and made oath in due form
of law, that she does not know of any will or Codicil of J. Appleton Wilson late of said
City, deceased, other than the above instrument in writing, and that this will was found
among the private effects of Testator who departed this life on the 17" day of April 1927.

On the 22" day of April 1927, came Martha Bokel and Raphael Semmes and on the 23"
day of April 1927, came Robert F. Hayes, Jr., the three subscribing witnesses to the afore-
going last Will and Testament of J. Appleton Wilson late of said City,, deceased,, and made
oath in due form of law, that they did see Testator sign and seal this Will; that they heard
him publish, pronounce and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament; that at the
time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind,
memory, understanding; and that they subscribed their names as witnesses to this Will in
his presence at his request; and in the presence of each other.
Sworn to the two former in open Court; the latter before the subscriber.

In the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City:
The Court after having carefully examined the above last Will and Testament of J.
Appleton Wilson late of Baltimore City, deceased, and also the evidence adduced as to its
validity, Orders and Decrees, this 23rd day of April, 1927, that the same be admitted in
this Court as the true and genuine last Will and Testament of the said J. Appleton Wilson
deceased.
