Born in Farmington, New Hampshire, 1857. Apprenticed at the Concord (Massachusetts) Public Library. Died 1932.

Biography:

Librarian of the Public Library in Rutland, Vermont.
Secretary, Vermont Library Commision
Moved to Hagerstown, Maryland, 1902.
Librarian at the Washington County (Maryland) Free Library.
Created the first bookmobile, 1904.
Developed Washington County Free Library Training Classes, 1924.
