Biography:

Born in Baltimore, September 9, 1913.  Attended Friends School; Johns Hopkins University, A.B., 1935; University of Baltimore, LL.B., 1939.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1939.  Served in the U.S. Army.  Married, 2 children.  Died April 6, 1994, near Annapolis, Maryland.

Major, U.S. Army. Assistant States' Attorney for Baltimore City, 1947-1951. Chairman, Board of Building, Savings and Loan Association Advisors, 1961-1962. Chairman, Board of Building, Savings and Loan Association Commissioners of the State of Maryland, 1962-date unknown. President, Legal Aid Bureau, Inc., 1962-1965. Court of Special Appeals, Judge, 1967-1976; Chief Judge, 1972-1976.  Member, Maryland State Bar Associations; Bar Association of Baltimore City; The Johns Hopkins Club; Phi Beta Kappa; Omicron Delta Kappa.
