Born October 24, 1897, in Baltimore, Maryland. Attended Baltimore City pubic schools; Baltimore City College; Johns Hopkins University, 1917; Harvard Law School, 1921. Jewish. Married Selma C. Levy, 1922. Two children: Martin Oppenheimer; Joan (Oppenheimer) Gottesman. Died July 1982.
