Born 1938.  Oberlin College, B.A., 1958; Georgetown University Law Center, J.D., 1981.  Admitted to the bar, 1981.

Associate Judge, Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, August 31, 2000 to March 3, 2008. Retired March 3, 2008. Family Judge in Charge, 2004-08. Member, Family and Domestic Relations Law Committee, 2000-01, Family Law Committee, 2001-02, and Judicial Ethics Committee, 2004-08, Maryland Judicial Conference. Board of Directors, Judicial Institute of Maryland, 2001-08.

Domestic Relations Master, Montgomery County Circuit Court, 1993 to August 30, 2000. 

Former English teacher. Law clerk to Judge David L. Cahoon, Montgomery County Circuit Court. Former partner, Dragga, Lyon & Sundt. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (family & juvenile law section council, 1997-, past chair); Montgomery County Bar Association; Women's Bar Association of Montgomery County (president, 1985); Women's Bar Association of Maryland (president, 1991-92). Fellow, Maryland Bar Foundation. Member, Divorce and Separation Round Table for Montgomery County. Author, Women in the Legal Profession, 1987. Beverly A.
