Born in Cumberland, Maryland, October 10, 1924.  Attended Cumberland parochial schools.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Allegany County, 1959-62.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Operator of insurance and travel agency.  Served in U.S. Army, 1943-46.  Delegate, Democratic State Convention, 1954.  Mayor of Cumberland, 1971-74.  Board of Governors, Memorial Hospital of Cumberland.  Member, American Society of Travel Agents; Maryland Independent Insurance Agents Association.  Chair, Convention and Tourist Committee, Cumberland Chamber of Commerce.  Member, Holy Name Society; Knights of Columbus; Military Affiliate Radio System (MARS).
