Biography:

Born William Henry Thomas in Hudson, Maryland, on September 19, 1920.  Son of Carroll Wesley and Estelle (Marshall) Thomas.  Attended Dorchester County public schools.  Married (1) Estella Adler (d. 1994), one son; (2) Frances C. Mills, three stepsons.  Died March 3, 2009, in Cambridge, Maryland.  Buried at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot, Wicomico Counties, 1975-82.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Air Force during World War II.  County Commissioner of Dorchester County, 1970-74.  Director, Dorchester General Hospital, 1970-71.  Member, Farm Bureau; American Legion; VFW.  President, Cambridge Rotary Club, 1974.  Commodore, Cambridge Yacht Club, 1969.  Board member, Grace Methodist Church.
