Born in Washington, D.C., November 23, 1936.  Attended Washington, D.C. parochial schools; Mount St. Mary's College, B.S., 1958; Georgetown University Law Center, LL.B., 1961.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1963.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Prince George's County, 1971-78.  Vice chair, Constitution and Administrative Law Committees, 1975-78.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Air Force.  Member, Young Democrats of Maryland; Prince George's County, Maryland State and American Bar Associations; Elks; American Legion; National Guard Association; International Association of Approved Basketball Officials.
