Biography:

Born in Hot Springs, South Dakota, May 9, 1932.  Attended Frederick High School; University of Maryland, B.S., 1955; University of Maryland ROTC.  Married; three children.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Frederick County, 1987-90.  Member, Environmental Matters Committee.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Owner and operator of dairy farm, Monocacy Meadows.  Member, Agricultural Land Preservation Advisory Board, Frederick County, 1978-87; Interagency Data Processing Authority, Frederick County, 1985-86; Potomac River Advisory Board, 1985-87.  Trustee, Frederick Community College, 1985-86.  State president, Farm and Land Institute, Realtor Affillate, 1984.  Western Maryland campaign coordinator, Hughes for Governor, 1978.  Director, Jaycees.  Member, Chamber of Commerce.  President, Frederick County Holstein Association.  Legislative director, Farm Bureau.  Founder and leader, Monocacy Valley 4-H Club.  As estate manager and faculty member, established with wife the Donaldson Brown Conference Center at Port Deposit for University of Maryland.
