Biography:

Born Thomas Lynch Merryweather in Cambridge, Maryland, May 23, 1920.  Son of Edgar Thomas and Myrtle Sullivan Henry Merryweather.  Attended Dorchester County public schools.  Married; three children and three stepchildren.  Died December 18, 2005, in Crisfield, Maryland.  Buried at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates (D), Dorchester County, 1959-67, 1971-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Air Force, 1943-45.  Real estate management specialist and president, wholesale beer distributorship.  Chair, Dorchester County Democratic State Central Committee, 1966-70.  Vestryman, Christ P.E. Church, Cambridge.  Member, Cambridge Volunteer Fire Company; Elks; Moose; American Legion; Cambridge Country Club; Cambridge Yacht Club.
