Born in Boston, Massachusetts, July 13, 1956.  Attended Parkdale High School, Riverdale; University of Maryland, B.A., 1978.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Prince George's County, 1987-90.  Member, Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
VISTA volunteer, American Indian Center, Omaha, Nebraska, 1979.  Member, Board of Directors, Prince George's County Mental Health Association, 1982.  Member, Prince George's County Human Relations Commission, 1986.  Assistant secretary, director, Maryland State Agency for Surplus Property, Department of General Services.  Member, Women's Political Caucus; Business and Professional Women's Club; Prince George's County Public Relations Association.  Oustanding Young Woman of the Year, 1983.
