Biography:

Born in Warwick, Maryland, December 30, 1922.  Son of Osborne Sentman Mackie and Josephine (Aiken) Mackie. Attended Cecil County public schools; West Nottingham Academy; University of Delaware, A.B.  Died October 27, 2013, in Elkton, Maryland.  Buried at Sharps Cemetery, Fair Hill, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Cecil County, 1959-82.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Farmer.  Member, Cecil County Health Planning Committee, 1973.  President, Cecil County Young Democrats.  Member; Board of Directors, Community Chest.  Charter member, National Society for the Prevention of Blindness.  Campaign chair, March of Dimes and Community Chest.  Member, Cecil County Historical Society; Cecil County Hunters' Association; Susquehanna State Park Advisory Board, 1983-84, 1987-90.
