Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 19, 1918.  Attended Baltimore parochial and public schools; Johns Hopkins University.  Married.  Died May 3, 1996, in Maryland. 

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Talbot County, 1955-66.  Chair, Eastern Shore delegation, 1959-61.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Marine Corps, 1934-38.  Member, Easton City Council, 1950-54; Easton Planning and Zoning Commission, 1950-54.  Chief of operations, Talbot County Civil Defense.  Real estate broker.  President, Talbot County Real Estate Board.  Member and vice-chair, Real Estate Commission of Maryland, 1967-85.  Member, Special Commission to Review the Wye Institute Report on the Seafood Industry, 1967-68.  Chair, Real Estate Hearing Board, 1971-73.   Member, Governor's Task Force on Time-Sharing, 1985-86.  Member, Chamber of Commerce.  District deputy, Elks.  Member, Knights of Columbus.  President, Easton Lions Club.  Member, Talbot County Country Club; Isaak Walton League.
