Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, June 4, 1946.  Attended Glen Burnie Senior High School; University of Baltimore, B.A., 1967; University of Baltimore Law School, J.D., 1970.  Married; four children.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore County, 1979-82.  Member, Judiciary Committee; Subcommittee on Corrections.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Attorney.  Assistant district attorney, Baltimore City, 1970-75; deputy people's counsel, Baltimore County, 1975-78.  President, Lansdowne Elementary PTA; Lansdowne Middle School PTA; Greater Lansdowne Community Council; Lansdowne Improvement Association.  Board of Directors, Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Association; Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen's Association; the Lansdowne Building and Loan Association.  Member, American, Maryland State, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City Bar Associations; National and Maryland District Attorney's Associations.  Member, Commission on Condominiums; Lansdowne- Highlands Community Service Center, Inc.; Consolidated Democratic Club; English Consul Democratic Club; New Democratic Club.  Board of Trustees, Community College of Baltimore County.  Guest lecturer, UMBC.  Author, Maryland Criminal Discovery and Procedure. Outstanding Young Men of America Award, 1979, 1980.
