Biography:

Born in Salisbury, Maryland, January 2, 1939.  Attended Wicomico Senior High School; College of William and Mary, B.S., 1962.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Wicomico, Caroline, Dorchester, & Talbot Counties, 1983-94.  Member, Environmental Matters Committee; Joint Committee on Chesapeake Bay Critical Areas; Special Joint Committee on Energy Pricing, 1990-91.  Chair, Eastern Shore Delegation.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in Maryland National Guard, sergeant, six years.  Owner of seed and feed company.  School teacher.  Member, Governor's Task Force on Senior Citizen Activity Centers, 1983-84; Governor's Task Force on Trees and Forests, 1990-94; Citizens Advisory Board for Deer's Head Center; Chesapeake Bay Critical Area Commission.  Member, Masons; Eastern Shore Shrine Club.
