Biography:

Born Henry Harlan "Buddy" Hanna, Jr.,  in Salisbury, Maryland, February 21, 1921.  Son of Henry H. Virginia Lee (Perdue) Hanna.  Attended Salisbury public schools; Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia; Valley Forge Military Academy, Wayne, Pennsylvania.; University of Virginia.  Married; three children.  Died in Pompano Beach, Florida, June 8, 2006.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Wicomico County, 1951-62.  Chair, Alcoholic Beverages Committee, 1959-62.  Chair, Eastern Shore delegation, 1955-58.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Real estate and insurance agent; general contractor; businessman.  Served in U.S. Army Air Force, 1942-45.  Member, City Council of Salisbury, 1948-50.  Member, Salisbury Jaycees; Elks Club; American Legion; V.F.W.
