Biography:

Born in Hancock, November 6, 1930.  Attended Hancock High School; University of Maryland, B.A., 1957; George Washington University School of Law, LL.B., 1960.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1960.  Married; four children. Died August 15, 2015, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Washington County, 1971-74.  Member, Economic Matters Committee, 1971-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Army, 1952-54.  Deputy state's attorney, Washington County, 1975-78.  Special counsel, Office of Attorney General, 1978-82.  Special attorney, State Highway Administration, 1981-82.  Associate judge, District Court of Maryland, District 11, Washington County, 1982-93.  Associate judge, Washington County Circuit Court, 4th Judicial Circuit, 1993-97.  Conservation Legislator of the Year, National Wildlife Federation (Maryland), 1973.  Member, Washington County Bar Association; American Legion; Elks; Tonoloway Rod and Gun Club.
