Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, March 8, 1935.  Attended Baltimore City College High School; University of Baltimore.  Married to Mildred Haas; three children, seven grandchildren.  Died May 5, 2007.  Buried at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, Maryland. 

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1979-94.  Member, Environmental Matters Committee.  House chair, Special Joint Committee on Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program.  Deputy majority whip, 1987-90.

Private Career and Other Public Service
Served in U.S. Army, 1955-58.  Businessman.  Vice-chair, Hazards Communications Study Commission, 1983-84.  Member, Governor's Advisory Commission on Sports, 1988-90; Maryland Underground Storage Tank Task Force, 1989-91; Advisory Council on Lead Poisoning, 1991-.  Member, American Legion; Order of Sons of Italy in America; VFW; Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts of America.  District commissioner, Polish Home.  Executive director, "I Am An American Day" Parade, Baltimore City.  Member of various community organizations.
