Born in Beckley, West Virginia, 1947.  Attended Sparrows Point High School; University of Baltimore.  Married; three children.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore County, 1991-94.  Deputy majority whip, 1994.  Member, Economic Matters Committee, 1992-94; Unemployment Insurance Subcommittee; Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee, 1991-92; Tort and Insurance Reform Oversight Committee, 1993.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Educator.  Member, Greater Dundalk Community Council; 7th District Advisory Council on Substance Abuse.  President, Community Action Against Drugs.  Board of Trustees, Baltimore County Community Colleges.  Member, Sparrows Point High School Alumni Association; University of Baltimore Alumni Association.
