Biography:

Born July 25, 1927, in Baltimore, Maryland.  Attended Baltimore parochial schools; Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, 1945; Loyola College, B.S., 1950; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1960.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1960.  Previously married to Shirley Nina Taylor; six sons.  Died November 12, 2010.  Buried at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Govans.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1967-82.  Member, Judiciary Committee, 1967-82; chair, Civil Laws Subcommittee.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Navy.  Member, Democratic State Central Committee of Maryland, Baltimore City, 1985-86.  Member, American, Maryland State, and Baltimore Bar Associations; Knights of Columbus, Fourth Degree; Order of the Alhambra; Friendly Sons of St. Patrick; Y.M.C.A.  President, Bellona Gittings Community Association, Inc.  President, Associated Democrats for Good Government; organizer of United Northeast Democrats.
