Born Marilyn Rubin in Boston, Massachusetts, on Janury 29, 1927. Attended Mt. Sinai Hospital School of Nursing, R.N., 1948. Married to William H. Goldwater; two children. Died January 7, 2023, in Manhattan Beach, California.
