Biography:

Born in Annapolis, Maryland, November 13, 1934.  Attended St. Mary's High School;  Loyola College of Baltimore, B.S., business administration, 1956; graduated as a distinguished military student.  Married; seven children. Died January 10, 2016, in Annapolis, Maryland. Buried, Our Lady of the Field Cemetery, Millersville, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative District 33 (R), Anne Arundel County, 1994-2003.  Member, Environmental Matters Committee, 1999-2003; Environment and Natural Resources subcommittee, 1999; Agriculture, Environmental and Natural Resources Subcommittee, 1999-2003; Appropriations Committee, 1995-98; Education and Economic Development Subcommittee, 1995-98; Oversight Committee on Personnel, 1995-98; Oversight Committee on Program Open Space & Agricultural Land Preservation, 1995-98.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Army; infantry captain, 1956-64.  Businessman.  Secretary/treasurer, Reliable Contracting Company, Inc.  Member, Federal Small Business Advisory Board, Region III, 1982-84.  Board member, West Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce, 1988-94.  Member, Anne Arundel County Republican Central Committee, 1990-94.  Member, board of directors, Anne Arundel Community College Foundation, 1992-98.  Delegate, Republican Party National Convention, 1996.  Member, Council on Management and Productivity, 1999-date unknown.  Member, Associated Builders and Contractors; president, Anne Arundel-Southern Maryland Chapter, 1971.  Member, Utility Contractors of Anne Arundel County; vice-president, 1984.
