Four daughters: Meaghan Anne Kennedy Townsend (b. 1977); Maeve Fahey Kennedy Townsend (b. 1979); Rose Katherine Kennedy "Kate" Townsend (b. 1983); Kerry Sophia Kennedy Townsend (b. 1991).
