Born in Baltimore, Maryland, October 14, 1961.  Attended Essex Community College; The Johns Hopkins University.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore County, 1991-94.  Member, Constitutional and Administrative Law Committee 1991-92; Commerce and Government Matters Committee, 1994; Ways and Means Committee, 1992-93; Housing Subcommittee.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Member, Maryland Democratic State Central Committee, 1986-90.  Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1988.  Regional vice-chair, Maryland Democratic Party, 1988-90.  Member, Young Democrats of Maryland; president, 1989.  Member, Bird River Democratic Club; Riverside Democratic Club; Norris Democratic Club; Deep Creek Democratic Club.  Member, Essex Development Corp.; Essex/Middle River Optimists.  Outstanding Young Democrat of the Year.
