Biography:

Born in Chicago, Illinois, December 27, 1937.  Attended Chicago parochial schools; St. Joseph's College, B.A., 1959; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1966.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1967.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Montgomery County, 1975-78.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Army, 1961-67.  Administrative hearing examiner for zoning for Montgomery County, 1970-72.  Assistant county attorney for Montgomery County, 1966-70.  General counsel, The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, 1981-84.  Chair, Information Practices Commission, 1982.  Assistant secretary for financing programs, Maryland Department of Economic & Employment Development, 1991-95.  Executive director & secretary, Maryland Industrial Development Financing Authority, 1996-97.  Member, Transportation Planning Board, Council of Governments.  Member, American, Maryland State, and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
