Born in High Point, North Carolina, June 23, 1953. Attended Maryvale College Preparatory School; Towson State College, B.S., 1975; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1978. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1979.

Associate Judge, District Court of Maryland, District 8, Baltimore County, December 12, 1990 to April 30, 2016. Retired April 30, 2016. Past member, Commissioner Education Committee, District Court of Maryland.

Member, Maryland State Bar Association; Baltimore County Bar Association; Women's Bar Association of Maryland. Member, Maryland State's Attorneys' Association.
