Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, May 14, 1928.  Attended Baltimore City College; University of Maryland, B.A., 1949; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1952.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1952.  Married; two children. Died June 17, 2003, in Baltimore, Maryland.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Legislative District 5 (D), Baltimore City, 1959-74.  Chair, Banking and Insurance Committee, 1967; Insurance Subcommittee, 1969-74.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Served in U.S. Army, 1952-54.  Executive board, Conference of Insurance Legislators of the United States, 1972-74.  Associate judge, District Court of Maryland, District 1, Baltimore City, 1974-98.  Member, executive committee, Conference of Insurance Legislators; Baltimore City, Maryland State and American  Bar Associations; Maryland Trial Lawyers Association; Pi Sigma Alpha.
