Born in Easton, Maryland, June 23, 1936. Attended Easton public schools; The Bolles School, Jacksonville, Florida; University of Maryland; Virginia Polytechnic Institute, B.S., 1964; Tulane University School of Law, LL.B., 1965. Admitted to the Maryland Bar, 1966. Married; two children.
