Born in Baltimore, Maryland, March 10, 1950.  Attended Parkville High School; St. Agnes Hospital, diploma in nursing, 1970; University of Maryland B.S.N., 1980; The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, M.P.H., 1986.  Married.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore County, 1987-90.  Member, Environmental Matters Committee.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Member-at-large, Democratic State Central Committee, 8th Legislative District, Baltimore County, 1984-86.  Member, Baltimore County Planning Board; vice-chair, Budget Committee, 1985-86.  Member, American Nurses Association; Maryland Nurses Association; chair, District 2 Legislative Committee, State Legislative Committee; Nurses Political Action Committee.  Member, Maryland Association of Elected Women; League of Women Voters; Women's Club of Perry Hall, Chair, Public Affairs Committee.  Member of various local Democratic and civic organizations.  Certificate of Appreciation, Baltimore County Police Department, 1985.
