Biography:

Born in Boca Raton, Florida, March 12, 1944. Attended Montgomery County public schools; Yale University, B.A., 1966; University of Maryland School of Law. Married to June Rutledge; two children. Died January 24, 2018, in Charlottesville, Virginia.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1971-75.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
School teacher.  Peace Corps Volunteer, 1966-68. Baltimore City Council, 1975. Executive director, Maryland Employment Security Administration.  Chair, Public Service Commission. President, Baltimore Gas & Electric Company. Member, Woodbrook Baptist Church.
