Biography:

Born January 1, 1938, in New York, New York.  Attended New Rochelle, New York, public schools; Skidmore College, B.A., 1959 and M.S., date unknown; University of Maryland.  Married; two daughters. Died May 31, 2005, in Odenton, Maryland. 

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Prince George's County, 1975-82.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Executive director, Maryland Association of Community Colleges.  Lobbyist for rights of the handicaped and for environmental matters in the state.  Member, Maryland Coalition for Gifted and Talented Education.  Alternate, Democratic National Convention, 1972.  Member, Women's Political Caucus.  Member, legislative chairperson, and member of Board of Directors, Committee on Improved Community Relations, Mental Health Association of Prince George's County.  Member, Segmental Advisory Council, Maryland Higher Education Commission; Advisory Council, Prince George's Coalition for the Handicapped, Inc.; League of Women Voters of Prince George's County; Citizens Advisory Committee of Greater Laurel Hospital Authority; Laurel Business and Professional Women; Laurel High School P.T.A.; Laurel Art Guild.  Executive Committee Member, Oaklands Citizens Association.
