Biography:

Born in Greece, September 17, 1915; immigrated to the United States as an infant.  Attend public schools, Portsmouth, Virginia.  Received LL.B., University of Baltimore, 1935.  Admitted to the Bar, November 2, 1935.  Married, (1) Helen Pappas and (2) Anastasia Ernestine Karukas; one son, Steven A. Thomas.  Died September 27, 2013, in Towson, Maryland.

Served in U.S. Counter Intelligence Corps, 1943-1946; attained rank of First Lieutenant.  Administrative Assistant to Mayor of Baltimore City, 1948.  Assistant City Solicitor, 1949-1955.  Board of Elections Supervisors, 1959-1961.  Assistant Judge, Baltimore City Municipal Court, 1961-1968.  Joined Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, December 17, 1968.  Retired, April 29, 1983.  Mason; Order of Ahepa; past president, Lions Club; past president, Hillendale Country Club.
