Biography:

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, March 20, 1919.  Attended Baltimore public schools; University of Baltimore, LL.B., 1945.  Admitted to the Maryland Bar.  Married; two children.  Died April 3, 2008, in Owings Mills, Maryland.  Buried at Oheb Shalom Memorial Park.

General Assembly:
House of Delegates, Baltimore City, 1955-73.  Chair, Labor Committee, 1963-67.  Member, Committee on Legislative Review, 1965.  Chair, Motor Vehicle Committee, 1967.  Member, Judiciary Committee.  Resigned April 9, 1973.

Private Career and Other Public Service:
Former unit chief in enforcement section, OPA.  Member, Governor's Study Workmen's Compensation Laws; Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee; Governor's Task Force to Develop a System of Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection; Governor's Commission to Study Driver Education; Governor's Commission to Study Workmen's Compensation Laws.  Judge, District Court of Maryland, District 6, Baltimore City. 1973-91.  Member, American Jewish Congress; Citizen's Planning and Housing Association; Mt. Washington Improvement Association; American and Maryland State Bar Associations; Junior Bar Association of Baltimore City; National Association of Claimants' Compensation Attorneys.  Member, Knights of Pythias; Elks; Masons; Shrine B'nai B'rith.  Founder and board member, Bonnie View Country Club; Green Spring Valley Synagogue.
